Journey into Mystery/ Thor Gallery

The Journey Into Mystery/Thor portion of The Green River Collection began as one of the more elusive titles in the pedigree. The earlier Journey Into Mystery issues, starting at issue 90 and running without interruption through issue 125, have rarely been seen, since they were presumably sold to private collectors in the early 1990s. John Hauser sold a couple of issues of the run in 2004 and 2005. Issue 91, shown here, is a special find, and thanks go to CGC board member namisgr for contributing this scan. A west coast collector, Shin Kao, succeeded in buying all of the Thor issues from #126 through 149 from Craig C. Beles in 2003. Gallery updated on March 19, 2006, with the addition of issue #118 (Thank you John!) and issue #92, which is a suspected Green River. We will be contacting Mark Haspel at CGC for his opinion. Added on June 26, 2006.....two Green Rivers with date stamps that exactly match verified books from the pedigree..... JIM #95's date matches that of Tales to Astonish #47, and JIM #101 carries an exact match for the date stamp found on Tales of Suspense #51.
